Job summary
Homerton Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is integrated Trust with Adult Community Nursing Services based at London borough of City and Hackney.
We require a Band 4 Nursing Associate to work independently under the guidance and direction of a Registered Nurse/ Clinical Nurse Specialist in order to provide efficient and effective evidence based nursing care to patients in their own homes.
Applicants must have a qualification in Associate Nursing practitioner as well as excellent clinical, communication and team working skills. Experience working in a Community Team is desirable. Main duties of the job

o The Nursing Associate will be proficient and competent and work within their scope of practice as governed by the NMC Code (2018) and NMC Standards of Proficiency (2018). o Act as a role model by upholding and implementing good practice in the workplace, always ensuring the highest standards of evidence-based care. o Act always in a manner, which illustrates respect for privacy, dignity and confidentiality. Provide nursing care that is safe and compassionate. o Be familiar with, comply and be able to access all Trust Policies and Procedures. o Maintain responsibility for the identification of own continuing educational needs and development. Reflect on own practice to identify development goals and formulate a Personal Development Plan and take part in annual appraisal. o Adhere to Trust Uniform Policy. o Understand and adhere to Trust Zero Tolerance (Violence and Aggression) policyo Promote and value the rights and responsibilities and diversity of individuals. o To always ensure confidentiality, only releasing confidential information obtained while employment to those acting in an official capacity in accordance with the provisions of the Data Protection Act and its amendments
