Infinity Motion Services (IMS) is a Swiss high-performance figure skating organisation dedicated to developing athletes through a comprehensive and scientifically based coaching methodology. Our mission is to provide long-term athlete development by combining technical excellence, evidence-based coaching, physical preparation and international competitive exposure. We work with competitive skaters of different ages and levels, supporting their progression from foundational skills to national and international competition. To support the continued expansion of our activities, we are seeking an exceptionally experienced Senior Figure Skating Technical Director & High Performance Coach who will lead the technical direction of our skating programmes and contribute to the long-term development of our athletes and coaching philosophy. Position Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing and supervising the technical development pathway of competitive figure skaters while ensuring the highest coaching standards throughout all stages of athlete development. This position combines high-level technical coaching, programme development, coach mentoring and athlete support during domestic and international competitions. The role requires an individual capable of integrating modern sports science with proven figure skating coaching methodologies to maximise athlete performance over the long term. Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement long-term technical development programmes for competitive figure skaters. • Deliver elite-level coaching in skating skills, edge quality, jump technique, spin development and overall technical progression. • Develop individual annual and multi-year athlete development plans. • Design structured technical progression systems tailored to athletes of different ages and competitive levels. • Monitor athlete progress through continuous technical evaluation and performance analysis. • Integrate on-ice technical development with off-ice conditioning programmes, including strength, flexibility, coordination, rotational training and injury prevention. • Collaborate with choreographers, off-ice trainers, physiotherapists, sports scientists and other specialists to ensure holistic athlete development. • Mentor and support junior coaches through technical education and knowledge transfer. • Develop coaching guidelines and technical documentation supporting organisational coaching standards. • Organise and conduct international figure skating camps and technical seminars. • Participate in talent identification and athlete selection. • Support parents through regular communication regarding athlete development plans. • Maintain the highest safeguarding, ethical and professional coaching standards. • Accompany athletes throughout the competitive season, including domestic and international competitions, training camps and development programmes, ensuring continuous technical supervision before, during and after performances. Responsibilities include competition planning, technical briefings, rink-side coaching, performance evaluation, coordination with event organisers and continuous communication with athletes and their families to support long-term athletic development. Required Qualifications:

The successful candidate must demonstrate all of the following qualifications: • Master's Degree (or equivalent higher education qualification) in Sport Sciences, Physical Education or a closely related discipline. • Minimum 20 years of professional coaching experience in competitive figure skating. • Demonstrated experience coaching athletes from beginner level through advanced competitive levels. • Proven experience designing long-term athlete development programmes. • Extensive knowledge of skating skills, edge quality, jump mechanics, spin development and competition preparation. • Strong understanding of biomechanics and evidence-based coaching methodologies. • Demonstrated ability to integrate sports science principles into daily coaching activities. • Experience coordinating both on-ice and off-ice athlete development. • Experience organising and leading international figure skating camps. • Experience working with athletes across multiple age categories. • Strong communication skills with athletes, parents and multidisciplinary coaching teams. • Excellent organisational and planning abilities. • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within an international coaching environment. • Fluency in English (written and spoken). Preferred Qualifications:

Candidates possessing one or more of the following qualifications will be considered particularly suitable: • Experience working with athletes who have achieved success at national or international level. • Previous collaboration with Olympic-level or World Championship coaching teams. • Proven experience within internationally recognised Russian figure skating technical schools or coaching systems is considered a strong asset. • Strong understanding of the methodologies traditionally associated with the Russian school of figure skating, particularly in technical skill development, jump progression and long-term athlete development. • Experience mentoring elite coaches. • Advanced knowledge of off-ice conditioning specifically developed for figure skating athletes. • Experience designing integrated technical development pathways for competitive clubs and high-performance programmes. • International coaching experience across Europe. • Ability to develop evidence-based coaching systems that can be transferred across different athlete profiles. • Knowledge of athlete monitoring methodologies and performance evaluation systems. International Competition & Travel Requirements:

The successful candidate must be willing and able to work in Switzerland while maintaining a highly flexible international travel schedule. The role requires frequent travel throughout Europe and, when necessary, internationally to accompany athletes during competitions, training camps, technical seminars and other high-performance events. Availability to travel on weekends, public holidays and during school holiday periods is essential, as athletes regularly compete and participate in training camps outside standard working days. The successful candidate will be expected to provide on-site technical coaching throughout the entire duration of competitions and training camps, including official practice sessions, warm-ups, competition preparation, rink-side coaching during performances, post-performance technical analysis and athlete supervision. Candidates should also demonstrate proven experience accompanying athletes to national and international competitions while coordinating effectively with event organisers, technical officials, coaching teams and athletes' families.
