We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Full Time Deli Manager to join our team at SPAR Newcastle. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and managing a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the daily operations of the deli department, including food preparation, cooking, and serving Ensure high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety Manage inventory, order supplies, and control costs to meet budget targets Train, supervise, and motivate deli staff to provide excellent service and achieve performance goals Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and customer satisfaction Experience Required: Prior experience in a deli or food service management role Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices Strong communication and organisational skills The successful applicant must be fully flexible as weekend work is included in the schedule.
