About the Family A warm, busy family on the Upper West Side is looking for a hands-on, hardworking House Manager who takes real pride in a clean, organized, well-run home. The household includes two parents, three young children (ages 7, 5, and almost 2), a live-in nanny, and a large Goldendoodle. They are moving from a Manhattan apartment into a large multi-level home of roughly 7,500 square feet (5 bedrooms, 6.5 bathrooms) and need someone who can keep the entire house consistently clean, tidy, and running smoothly day to day. The family keeps a kosher kitchen and observes Shabbat. Experience in a kosher home is welcome, and they are glad to teach the right person. The Shape of This Role This is a hands-on role. The person in this position does the daily work themselves: cleaning, tidying, resets, and keeping the home in order across every floor. It is not a role centered on supervising other staff. The family is not planning to keep a separate daily housekeeper, so this person owns the day-to-day cleaning of the home. They are open to a separate person handling a weekly deep clean, though the right candidate may take that on as well.
