The role At The Usual, we are not just building hotels, we are building a brand that inspires more conscious travel. We combine beautiful design, genuine hospitality and sustainability to create places where guests, locals and our teams feel at home. We currently operate hotels in Rotterdam and Brussels, with our third hotel in Florence opening in Q1 2027. And we are just getting started, with several exciting European locations already in the pipeline. To support our growing brand, we are looking for a Brand Marketing Intern with a passion for social media, graphic design, content creation and digital marketing. What you'll bring to the table As part of our Brand Marketing team, you will help bring The Usual to life across our digital channels and guest touch points. You will work closely with our Digital Marketing Manager, Creative Content Creator & PR Manager and Graphic Designer & Partnership Coordinator. No two days are ever the same. During your internship you will focus on: <ul style="list-style-type:disc;margin-left:26px;"><li>Create engaging content for Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and other digital channels.</li><li>Design visuals for online, print and in-house communication.</li><li>Capture photo and video content and edit it into inspiring social content.</li><li>Keep our website up to date and support content translations.</li><li>Help develop newsletters, guest communications and other marketing campaigns.</li><li>Build and maintain marketing calendars.</li><li>Cover events and create live content from our hotels.</li><li>Visit our hotel locations to gather stories, interview colleagues and guests, and create authentic brand content.</li><li>Support partnerships, PR activities and community-building initiatives.</li><li>Contribute ideas that help strengthen and grow</li></ul> Who are you? You're someone who loves being creative and isn't afraid to bring new ideas to the table. You enjoy working in a collaborative environment and are excited by the energy of a growing international company. Your superpowers:<ul style="list-style-type:disc;margin-left:44px;"><li>Curious by nature and eager to learn.</li><li>Creative with an eye for design and storytelling.</li><li>Passionate about social media and up-to-date with the latest trends.</li><li>Organized and able to manage multiple projects at once.</li><li>Open-minded, internationally oriented and excited to work with different cultures.</li><li>Interested in sustainability, hospitality and brand building. </li></ul> What we're looking for <ul style="list-style-type:disc;margin-left:26px;"><li>You are currently studying Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design or a related programme.</li><li>Strong design skills and confidence using Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Figma and Canva.</li><li>You enjoy writing and creating content for different audiences and channels.</li><li>You're comfortable creating and editing photo and video content using tools such as CapCut or similar.</li><li>You understand how to adapt and distribute content across different channels. While Instagram and TikTok are our main platforms, you'll also help create content for Pinterest, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, newsletters and our website.</li><li>Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
