Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and organised individual to join the team as a Band 2 Administrator working 16 hours per week.
The post holder will support the day-to-day administration of the service, ensuring patients are booked appropriately and that data is accurately recorded in line with Trust policies.
The role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a busy environment.
Main duties of the job
o To provide administrative support to the clinical team, ensuring efficient day-to-day running of the serviceo To support patient admissions, discharges and appointment booking processes in line with local procedureso To maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records across Trust systemso To ensure timely communication with relevant internal and external teamso To support the coordination of patient pathways, escalating any issues where appropriateo To manage general administrative tasks, including document preparation, data entry and stock controlo To liaise with clinical staff to ensure information is accurate and processes are followed correctlyo To provide cover and support across the wider service as required in line with service needs

Education & professional Qualifications Essential
Basic literacy and numeracy skills' or 'Entry Level 2/3 NVQ Level 1 in Business Administration/Customer Care or acquired equivalent experience GCSE or equivalent level education

Basic IT or administrative training
Experience Essential
Experience of working in the NHS in an admin position Knowledge of NHS computer systems (eg CareFlow, Medway)
