Job summary The post holder will: Provide professional, managerial and clinical leadership to NNU staff in the delivery of evidence based infant and family centred care. Have responsibility for operational line management of the NNU team ensuring the effective use of resources and the development & maintenance of the highest standards of care and efficient service delivery. Provide active leadership, acting as a motivator and communicating effectively with the Neonatal team and wider Multi- professional team. Be a visible presence and point of contact for carers, families, visitors and staff, providing help and support in problem solving and meeting their needs. Be a role model ensuring the dignity, rights and confidentiality of the infants, their families and team members are protected and maintained.
