An exciting opportunity has risen to join the fantastic Liaison Psychiatry Medical Team. This is a replacement Consultant post based in Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board for Liaison Services and you will be joining a team in a very dynamic andforward looking Directorate, with supportive colleagues and a culture where development and progression is embedded.The existing clinical teams within Rhondda Taff Ely are well established and there is a very supportive peer group across the Health Board. The post is an ageless service. Your main base will be in Royal Glamorgan Hospital Ynysmaerdy, Pontyclun CF72 8XR.

Implementation of the MH Act and associated duties. Liaison + collaboration with colleagues from the Directorate and beyond including other organisations, Local Authorities and third sector. Supervision of team members as appropriate, taking full part in referral handling/team meetings. Taking on much of the clinical leadership of the team, working closely with other senior prof's inc. Mental Health Liaison Practitioners. The management of complex cases, providing leadership and specialist advice to colleagues across the team. Triaging new referrals and sign posting to appropriate person to undertake initial assessment. Assessment, diagnosis, and formulation of management plans for patients Prif Ddyletswyddau'r Swydd
