About this role

Job summary

Eagle Ward is seeking a Band 3 Healthcare Assistant who is keen to explore and develop their career in Renal.

Eagle Ward cares for patients with renal disease, including Acute, Chronic and End Stage Kidney Disease. We also undertake both live-related and Deceased Donor Renal Transplantation and care for patients requiring peritoneal dialysis.

As a Healthcare Assistant in our team, you will play an integral part in ensuring patients are provided with a healthy, safe and secure environment. With the support of the wider nursing team, you will have a mixture of daily duties some which will be supervised and some autonomous.

With progression through training and experience you will also be involved in undertaking aspects of peritoneal and haemodialysis.

A Care Certificate is an essential role requirement for all Band 3 Healthcare Assistant roles here at GOSH. Please ensure you provide full details of your Care Certificate, including when and where gained, in the qualification section of your application form.
