We are seeking a motivated Band 5 Rotational Physiotherapist to deliver high-quality physiotherapy care across a range of specialist respiratory and inpatient services. This rotational role offers the opportunity to gain valuable experience in:
Pulmonary Rehabilitation Surgery and Critical Care Medical Inpatient Services You will work with patients across a variety of settings, including inpatient wards, outpatient clinics and community-based services, providing assessment, treatment and rehabilitation to support patients throughout their care journey.
Main duties of the job
This role is particularly suited to someone with a passion for respiratory physiotherapy and an interest in developing expertise in the management of patients with cardiac and respiratory conditions. Whether you already have some respiratory experience or are looking to build your specialist skills, you will be supported by an experienced and dedicated team committed to your professional development.

Job description Job responsibilities
As part of our respiratory physiotherapy service, you will contribute to a 7-day service and play an important role in delivering emergency respiratory physiotherapy support for inpatients across the Trust.
The successful candidate will participate in:
Weekend working (approximately 1 day in every 4 weeks) Overnight on-call duties Late shift working (12 noon - 8pm) Full competency-based training and support will be provided to prepare you for these responsibilities.
Working Hours

Qualifications Essential
Diploma/Degree/MSc in Physiotherapy HCPC Registration
Desirable
Membership of relevant clinical interest group e.g., ACPCF, ACPRC, BTS
Knowledge Essential
Evidence of recent and relevant CPD Clinical reasoning skills based on evidence and current research Demonstrate a knowledge of the MDT and their differing contributions to patient care Experience clinically within the NHS as a physiotherapy student.
Desirable
Good IM & T Skills Knowledge of airway clearance techniques such as AD, PEP, Acapella, Flutter, NIV
Skills Essential
An ability to work as part of the MDT and communicate appropriately with all grades of staff. An ability to empathise and reassure
