About this role
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Prepare monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities.
• Analyze financial results and explain account variances.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, company accounting policies, and internal controls.
• Support internal and external audit requests.
• Assist with financial statement preparation and management reporting.
• Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and resolve outstanding reconciling items.
• Support SOX compliance and documentation.
• Review production order settlements and manufacturing postings within SAP.
QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION:
• BS or BA degree in accounting or Finance
• Big Four experience preferred
• 5+ years of accounting experience in a Manufacturing environment. Public company and Aerospace & Defense Industry experience preferred.
• CPA required.
• SAP experience
• Possess a strong general accounting knowledge, including GAAP and related principles and practices.
• Sound business judgement and ability to synthesize, analyze, and extract implications from data.
• Ability to frame unstructured and complex analytical problems to a broad audience.
• Strong business partnering skills with the ability to regularly interface with executive management.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Advanced level knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, & Word. Familiarity with SAP S/4 Hana and Analytics Cloud is a plus.

• CPA and SAP

• Detail-oriented with strong documentation and compliance management skills.
