About this role

Essential Responsibilities

• Assist with the daily operations of the community and provide leadership in the Community Manager's absence.

• Manage resident accounts, collections, delinquency, payment processing, and move-out accounting.

• Prepare leases, renewals, notices, lease violations, and resident correspondence.

• Process lease violations and ensure timely follow-up in accordance with company policies and Fair Housing guidelines.

• Respond promptly to resident concerns and ensure timely resolution of service requests.

• Process applications, approve qualified applicants, and maintain compliance with Fair Housing regulations.

• Support leasing efforts by touring prospective residents, following up on leads, and assisting with occupancy goals.

• Maintain accurate resident files and ensure data integrity within Yardi.

• Assist with monthly reporting, audits, budgeting, and financial performance.

• Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure excellent curb appeal and resident satisfaction.

• Provide exceptional customer service while building positive relationships with residents, vendors, and clients.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish (required).

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience as an Assistant Property Manager in the multifamily industry (required).

• Strong working knowledge of Yardi Voyager (required).

• Experience with RentCafe, CRM platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite preferred.

• Strong knowledge of leasing, renewals, collections, lease enforcement, and resident relations.

• Experience preparing and administering lease violations in accordance with company policy and Fair Housing regulations.

• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong understanding of Fair Housing laws and multifamily operations.

• High level of professionalism, accountability, and attention to detail.
