About this role

• Reviews, tracks, and documents employee participation in mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications.

• Reviews background checks, drug screens, and employment eligibility verifications. Identifies variances from accepted guidelines and escalates matters to the Senior Human Resources Director as needed.

• Works with other Human Resources Department staff and various internal stakeholders to investigate and resolve general employee matters.

• Performs complex tasks required to administer and execute human resource policies and programs including but not limited to compensation, overtime pay, leaves; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; random drug testing process, productivity, recognition, and morale.

• Works in collaboration with safety department on drug and alcohol testing requirements, occupational health and safety matters.

• Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the Senior Human Resources Director.

• Works with Compensation & Benefits Administrator on tracking LOAs requests (FMLA / CFRA, PDL, PFL) and assists in completion of state and federal forms.

• Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and

• Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.

• Monitors and updates all the related HR information systems with relevant employee

• Assists with preparation of plans, policies, documents, and various reports including but not limited to EEO-1, affirmative action plans, organizational charts, and employee handbooks.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field

• 3-5 years of human resource experience

• SHRM-CP

Salary Range: $70K - $80K
