Position Summary The Civil Engineer II, P.E. is responsible for performing and supporting the design, analysis, and delivery of civil and infrastructure projects for public-sector clients. This role is suited for a licensed professional engineer who is ready to take increased ownership of project tasks, collaborate closely with project managers and senior engineers, and contribute to high-quality, on-time project delivery. 💥 Hybrid flexibility! 💥 · Prepare engineering designs, calculations, plans, and specifications for civil and transportation infrastructure projects. · Support roadway, drainage, site civil, and utility-related design efforts under the guidance of senior engineers and project managers. · Coordinate with internal disciplines, subconsultants, and external stakeholders to support project delivery. · Apply applicable state, federal, and local standards and design criteria to engineering work. · Assist with plan production, technical reports, cost estimates, and permit documentation. · Respond to review comments and support quality control and quality assurance processes. · Provide limited construction-phase support, including responding to RFIs and reviewing shop drawings as needed. · Participate in mentoring, training, and professional development opportunities.
