DRMP is seeking an experienced Stormwater/Water Resources Engineer with a strong background in hydrologic and hydraulic (H&H) modeling, HEC-RAS, and stormwater design. The ideal candidate has experience delivering drainage and floodplain studies, bridge hydraulic (BHR) analyses, permitting, and design. You’ll lead stormwater projects from early planning through design, permitting, and construction support. Lead the planning, design, and delivery of stormwater management projects. Develop hydrologic and hydraulic models and translate findings into practical, buildable solutions. Design drainage systems, storm sewers, detention and retention facilities, and green-infrastructure solutions. Prepare construction plans, specifications, cost estimates, technical reports, and permit documentation. Coordinate closely with clients, contractors, project teams, and regulatory agencies. Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, quality, and regulatory compliance. Conduct site assessments and field investigations to inform design decisions. Bring sustainable, low-impact-development approaches into project solutions. Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and technical staff. Contribute to proposals, presentations, and client relationships.
