RWDI is seeking a Wind Tunnel Test Technician (Operator) to join the Wind Tunnel Group in Guelph , Ontario. This is a full-time permanent position, requiring rotating day, afternoon, and night shifts. The Wind Tunnel Test Technician is responsible for setting up and executing experiments adhering to the prescribed test program and quality standards. This is an exciting opportunity to work on testing physical models of some of the world's most innovative buildings and infrastructure projects in RWDI's internationally recognized wind tunnel facilities. The role includes but is not limited to: Work as part of a team to set up and execute wind tunnel testing projects Assemble, install, and secure test models, sensors, and equipment Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment safely and effectively Operate computer systems to support testing and data collection Inspect test setups and results to ensure quality and accuracy Identify and resolve setup issues to keep projects moving efficiently Follow established safety procedures and operating standards Maintain equipment and workspaces in a clean and organized condition Communicate effectively with technical and operations team members Help deliver projects on time while maintaining high quality standards Please note, this is a week day position (Monday - Friday), on a 2 week rotation of day, afternoon and night shifts.
