As part of our environmental compliance management solutions we support our international customers in fulfilling their Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) obligations worldwide. Focus areas are: waste of electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE), batteries, packaging, and textiles. In this context we are looking for a (Junior) Environmental Compliance Specialist to implement EPR compliance activities in the Asia Pacific region You will be responsible for ensuring the Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) compliance for some of our largest customers in the Asia Pacific region. You are the direct contact person for our customers for EPR questions related to Asia Pacific. In order to keep our regulatory know-how on EPR up to date you carry out monitoring of EPR laws across Asia Pacific (with a focus on, but not limited to, Korea, Japan, Singapore, Australia). You maintain contact with regional legislative bodies and authorities as well as compliance schemes that are relevant for the implementation of the legal requirements mentioned. You analyze the EPR obligations of customers in Asia, develop optimal implementation scenarios to ensure EPR compliance and implement them together with our team of experts. After an initial training period you will be handling our customers’ product and sales data to create EPR compliance reports and submit them to compliance schemes and national authorities. Together with the team you will further develop our service portfolio to strengthen RLG’s position as global one-stop-shop for EPR compliance.
