About this role
We’re looking for a practical and customer-focused Warehouse / Yard Assistant to join our team. This is a hands-on role where you’ll help keep our feedstore and yard organised, safe, and ready for customers; as well as keeping the store replenished and serving customers. Product knowledge is key so someone who is willing to learn is a must. Contract: Temporary (1 year) Hours: Full-time Hours of Work: 40 Hours per week, working on a rota basis As Warehouse / Yard Assistant, you’ll play a key role in managing stock, supporting operational standards, and ensuring customers receive excellent service. You’ll work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a clean, safe environment and make sure every interaction reflects our values: customer first, innovative, knowledgeable, honest, committed, and courageous. Key responsibilities include: • Assisting with goods inwards, stock rotation, and accurate processing of deliveries • Maintaining integrity of stock records and ensuring correct selling of items • Keeping feedstore and yard areas organised and compliant with company standards • Delivering friendly, solution-focused service to all customers • Ensuring compliance with health & safety policies and company procedures
