About this role
Delivery Manager act as the connective tissue between engineering, product, and business stakeholders, ensuring transparency, alignment, and continuous improvement. The Delivery Manager is responsible for ensuring that milestones are clearly understood and documented, and software development teams deliver high quality products and enhancements efficiently, predictably, and sustainably, focusing on resolving business problems/goals. They remove obstacles, facilitate effective collaboration, and support teams in meeting their delivery commitments and delivering value. 1. Delivery Planning & Execution Oversee and facilitate the end-to-end delivery of software features, services, or platforms from discovery through deployment‑to‑end delivery of software features, services, or platforms from discovery through deployment. Track and manage dependencies, risks, and issues across squads and functions, feeding into central logs and steering board packs as required. Drive the delivery roadmap in partnership with Head of Products and Technical Leads. 2. Stakeholder Communication & Transparency Provide clear, consistent communication on progress, risks, and priorities. Support product and engineering leaders with data driven forecasting. Ensure that stakeholders have full visibility without disrupting team focus. 3. Team Enablement & Facilitation Cultivate strong, autonomous, high performing teams by promoting good delivery practices. Facilitate workshops, and collaborative planning sessions. Remove impediments that block progress to the delivery of core programme milestones —both within the team and at organisational level. Facilitate and coordinate multiple streams across IT and business functions, including preparation of ‘go-live’ and support of hyper care 4. Governance, Standards & Compliance Support PMO and senior leaders with creation of steering board presentations Ensure teams follow organisational quality, security, and delivery standards. Support coordination around audits, compliance checks, and release readiness activities. 5. Cross Team Coordination‑Team Coordination Assist with managing cross team dependencies and facilitate alignment across multiple squads. Partner with architects, engineers, and product leaders to coordinate platform‑wide initiatives.
