What are we looking for? In these roles you will be supporting our clients and internal business teams in the ongoing management of reinsurance treaties. You will combine analytical thinking, data interpretation and problem-solving with regular collaboration across the business. Candidates should have: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Strong Excel skills SQL knowledge and experience working with large datasets An interest in data analysis and interpreting results Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with complex information Python programming experience would be advantageous but is not essential An interest in developing technical skills and applying them to improve business processes We welcome candidates from a range of degree backgrounds who have developed these skills through university modules, previous work experience, personal projects, online learning or self-directed study. Some of the key responsibilities within the Operations team include reviewing reinsurance treaties, conducting data analysis, interpreting results and investigating any arising issues. We work in a hugely dynamic and agile environment and can provide opportunities for you to develop your individual experience and abilities. You will get hands-on experience across a wide range of activities and projects. From developing a deep understanding of our products and clients, to reviewing and transforming client data, to managing stakeholders and supporting the implementation and management of reinsurance treaties, you'll gain a thorough grounding in life reinsurance – including learning what a treaty is! Your first three to six months will focus on opportunities and activities that will help you learn and develop. This will involve a period of intensive knowledge sharing around our products and internal training courses on our tools, systems and processes. By the end of that initial period, you will also be working with other teams from around the business to implement and manage reinsurance treaties within our global platform. We won't stop investing in you even when you are able to manage the entire life cycle of reinsurance treaties. We fully support professional insurance qualifications and will continue to provide coaching and challenge you alongside your day-to-day work as you start to build your personal portfolio and brand.
