Job summary
We have a Band 5 Audiologist role for 37.5 hours a week, available at West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust.
Working in the Audiology Departments of WHHT, helping the adult hearing-impaired population, by diagnosing and treating hearing loss.Based across the 3 hospital sites. Hours 7.50-18.00.
Must have a BSc in Audiology or equivalent, with relevant in-service training.
RCCP or equivalent registration is an essential requirement if already qualified.
RCCP registration or equivalent registration must be applied for if your qualification is pending.
Please note this is a 12 months fixed term/secondment
Main duties of the job
You must have NHS experience either as a qualified Audiologist or as a student on placement.
You will be covering ENT clinics, doing Direct referrals, reassessments, hearing aid fittings, follow ups and hearing aid repairs.
You will need to be flexible, a team player and enjoy working with the elderly and hearing impaired.

Person Specification
Education and qualifications: Essential
BSC in Audiology or equivalent audiological qualifications. RCCP/HCPC/ACHS registered or working towards it.
Desirable
Member of BAA.
Knowledge: Essential
Confidentiality issues. Confident in all aspects of routine Audiology. IT skills.
Desirable
Experience in using Auditbase patient management system.
Experience: Essential
Appropriate audiology in service training.
