About this role
Job summary
Join a friendly, supportive and forward-thinking practice where high-quality patient care and GP wellbeing go hand in hand.
We are looking for an enthusiastic Salaried GP (4 sessions per week) to join our stable and experienced team across Wetherby Surgery and Bramham Surgery. Serving approximately 7,000 patients, we have a well-established population with low deprivation, enabling us to focus on delivering personalised, patient-centred care.
We recognise the importance of a sustainable workload. Our GPs benefit from capped appointment numbers, 15-minute appointments, low home visit rates supported by a dedicated Home Visiting Paramedic, and access to an extensive multidisciplinary team including Clinical Pharmacists, First Contact Physiotherapists and Mental Health Practitioners through Wetherby PCN.
You'll be joining a collaborative practice with daily clinical huddles, regular MDT meetings, excellent nursing and administrative support, and a strong culture of teamwork. We are consistently high QOF achievers, participate in enhanced services, and operate an on-site dispensary at our Bramham branch.
If you're looking for a role where your contribution is valued, your wellbeing is supported, and you can enjoy practising medicine within a welcoming team in the attractive market town of Wetherby, we'd love to hear from you. Informal visits are warmly welcomed.

About us
Wetherby & Bramham Surgery is a friendly, progressive GMS practice providing high-quality primary care from two sites: Wetherby Surgery and Bramham Surgery. We care for approximately 7,000 patients across Wetherby and the surrounding villages, serving a stable population with relatively low levels of deprivation.
Our partnership also includes South Milford Surgery. Whilst South Milford Surgery and Wetherby & Bramham Surgery are part of the same GP partnership, each practice has its own registered patient list and is a member of a different Primary Care Network, allowing each practice to retain its own identity while benefiting from shared leadership, expertise and resources.
Our experienced multidisciplinary team includes GPs, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Practice Nurses, Healthcare Assistants, Clinical Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, Care Coordinators, Social Prescribers, First Contact Physiotherapists, Mental Health Practitioners and an experienced administration and reception team.
We consistently achieve excellent QOF performance, participate in Enhanced Services and dispense medication to almost half of our patient population through our on-site dispensary at Bramham Surgery.
We pride ourselves on fostering a supportive, inclusive culture where teamwork, staff wellbeing and professional development are valued. Daily clinical huddles, regular MDT meetings and strong leadership ensure colleagues feel supported while delivering outstanding care to our local community.
