To carry out reception/administration tasks on a day-to-day operational basis ensuring that services are delivered: In a coordinated and efficient manner. To work with other receptionists and healthcare professionals to provide a first-class service to our patients. Must hold a valid Drivers Licence and have own transport Reception or customer care experience is essential. The person must be an excellent communicator both spoken and written. Must be well presented Must have basic PC skills - will be able to use basic Word, Excel and email. Must be able to work within processes/procedures. Should be personable, polite and patient. Needs to have empathy with patients, some of whom may not be so patient or polite because of anxiety. Needs to be able to remain calm in fraught circumstances. Needs to maintain confidentiality and data security. Needs to apply common sense when dealing with situations which do not fit the norm. Must be adaptable and comfortable dealing with changing priorities. Must be flexible to work different shifts as required by business needs. Must be a team player. An understanding of confidentiality is required and the ability to use own judgment. Reception experience is essential and ideally the person will have worked in a GP or other medical centre. Qualifications Essential
A valid driver's licence and own transport are required. Reception or customer care experience is essential. The candidate must be an excellent communicator, both spoken and written, and must be well-presented. Basic PC skills are required, including proficiency in Word, Excel, and email. The candidate should work well within established processes and procedures, be personable, and display empathy. Remaining calm in stressful circumstances and maintaining confidentiality and data security are crucial. Adaptability, flexibility in working shifts, and being a team player are essential, along with prior experience in a GP or medical center.
