Join Our Front Door Team - Help Shape the Future of Adult Social Care
We are looking for dynamic and motivated individual to join our Front Door Independence & Advice Hubon a fixed term basis, supporting a team that is evolving and moving forward at pace.
This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of an essential, fastmoving service that guides, supports and signposts residents to the right services at the right time - maximising independence wherever possible.
About the Role
You will:
Act as a key point of contact for residents, carers and professionals Use person-centred, strengths-based approaches to achieve positive outcomes for vulnerable adults Manage enquiries, problem solve, and balance customer expectations Explore a wide range of signposting and preventative options, while identifying individuals who require more formal support Work collaboratively with professionals from partner organisations supporting adults, families and communities What Were Looking For
You'll be:
Enthusiastic, adaptable and motivated Passionate about working in adult social care Confident communicating by telephone with a professional and empathetic manner Comfortable working in a busy, change-driven environment Able to work collaboratively and respond quickly to emerging priorities Skills and Experience
Good IT skills are essential
Previous experience in adult social care is desirable but not essential full training will be provided
Main duties of the job
To observe, monitor and give direction to the general public on their behavior and conduct in order to ensure that they safely enjoy activities and prevent misuse or damage to the facility and its equipment.
General duties including setting out and dismantling of equipment.
Coaching/teaching groups and individuals in accordance with the relevant governing body methods, techniques and standards.
Promotion, organisation and supervision of session activities as directed, including liaison with customers as necessary to inform, develop and promote the activity.
Working with clients (who may have complex needs),who are enrolled on the Health Agenda programme.
Any duties and responsibilities appropriate to the grade and level of responsibility of the post
In your role you are required to speak English with sufficient fluency to effectively perform your duties, as required by Section 77-84 of the Immigration Act 2016
