We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Management Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in financial management, reporting, and strategic planning, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data across the organization. Main duties of the job
Responsibilities
Build and develop strong collaborative working relationships and efficient processes with key stakeholders, in particular with service managers and finance colleagues within the wider finance team. Ensure queries and requests for support and guidance are responded to efficiently and effectively in a timely manner. Lead point of contact for service managers for all financial issues. Provide service managers training with regards to Trust Policy and Processes in relation to financial matters and compliance with Standing Financial Instructions. Responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of monthly financial transactions and data and compliance to standard accounting processes and procedures and Standing Financial Instructions. Ensure all income and expenditure transactions, including internal recharges, are appropriately accounted for on a timely basis. Responsible for supporting service managers to ensure that appropriate service level agreements and contracts are in place before services are delivered. Ensure timely collection of income due, raising invoices in line with service level and contractual arrangements. Support prompt payment of debt by monitoring payment of invoices and supporting credit control and service managers in actions taken to recover overdue debt.

Responsible for designated ad hoc processes associated with income and expenditure commitments, for example lease car applications or allocation of consolidated invoices.Experience
At least 3 years management accounting experience including dealing with service managers/customers Experience of providing monthly financial reports and other management information for at least 2 years of that time.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
