We are looking for an experienced Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist to join our growing Therapeutic Services team, supporting children and young people aged 8 to 16 years who are receiving Education Otherwise Than At School (EOTAS)provision as part of their Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
This is a 2-2.5 day per week position for the full academic year, starting in September.
Main duties of the job
You will be HCPC registered and have experience working with children and young people with:
AutismSocial communication difficultiesLearning disabilitiesMental health needsChallenging behaviours
You'll be confident undertaking assessments, delivering interventions and contributing to EHCP provision. Flexibility to travel throughout West Sussex is essential.
Successful candidates will also complete Children and Adolescent Needs and Strengths (CANS)training, fully funded as part of the role.
