Job summary Within this role you will be expected to co-ordinate the daily management of the Neonatal Unit in conjunction with the senior nursing team in order to make the most effective efficient use of staff You will ensure that each aby receives individualised care appropriate to their needs, whilst maintaining a safe environment. You will be a clinical expert in the field of neonates, holding a continuing responsibility for the delivery of high-quality patient care. You will be responsible for the supervision and development of all nurses, students, and support workers within the field of neonates and demonstrate a high degree of motivation. You will effectively manage the ward resources. You will be a visible point of contact for infants parent/carers, visitors, relatives and staff, acting as a resource of problem solving and needs.
