About this role

Job summary

We have several exciting opportunities for Patient Advisors to join our supportive and dedicated GP Practice team. This role involves working Monday to Friday, with shifts between 7.45 a.m. and 6.30 p.m., plus participation in the Saturday rota (8.45 a.m. to 1.15 p.m. , pro rata).

Main duties of the job

What You'll Be Doing

Patient support welcoming and assisting patients in person and over the phone Online triage scheduling appointments, updating records, and managing enquiries with empathy and professionalism Clinical liaison working closely with clinical staff to ensure a smooth patient journey Care Navigation guiding patients on services, referrals, and next steps in their care

What Were Looking For

Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills ITconfident and ideally experienced with clinical systems Someone who thrives in a fastpaced environment and remains calm under pressure A team player with great attention to detail Previous experience in healthcare and customer service within General Practice Flexible, adaptable, and comfortable working in a busy, changing environment Willingness to provide cover for annual leave/sickness, sometimes at short notice

About us

We are a professional and friendly GP Practice looking after around 13,500 patients based in the Wednesfield / Bushbury area. The practice has recently relocated to a purpose built medical centre.

Previous experience in a healthcare and have experience in customer service within a General Practice environment.

It is essential for the successful candidate to be flexible and be adaptable to a changing and busy environment.

There is an expectation to cover for annual leave/sickness purposes and this could be at short notice.

Person Specification

Experience Essential

Previous experience working in a busy Medical Practice is preferred but not essential.
