An exciting opportunity has arisen for Band 4 Supply chain supervisor within the Procurement service. We are seeking an enthusiastic, dynamic and innovative individual with excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships across a multi-professional team and be able to adapt to an evolving service in order to ensure the continuous delivery of high quality patient care.

Main duties of the job
We are seeking to appoint a Supply Chain supervisor within the Procurement Shared service. The appointment to this post will be based at Lewisham and Greenwich NHS.
The role will be responsible for the implementation of Procurement CIPS as well as leading the Supply Chain team on a day to day basis across two sites. You will be responsible to build up key relations ship with internal and external teams including end users/Department, Finance and GMs
The successful candidate must be able to prioritise competing demands for the service, be able to learn quickly to understand the complexity of the service.
Experience in Supply Chain is required. Management experience is also required

The Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust Procurement Shared Service provides a specialist support for several NHS trusts within London including Guy's and St Thomas' hospital sites and the Evelina Children's Hospital as well as Lewisham & Greenwich NHS Trust.

Experience and knowledge of managing inventory management systems and implementing systems within a fast moving business environment Experience of setting objectives, carrying out staff appraisals, identifying training needs. Experience of report preparation and recommendation methodology Developed customer care communication skills Experience of organisational management in a large organisation Experience of performance management including disciplinary policies
Qualifications Essential
NVQ Level 3 Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS), or equivalent training and experience.
Skills Essential
Excellent interpersonal, presentation and written communication skills Experience of staff rota management in a large organisation An experienced problem solver Experience of working with systems based data for interrogation purposes
