Applications are invited for the position of Health Care Assistants with Holy family Nursing home, Magheramore, Killimor, Ballinasloe, Co.Galway an established home catering for the care and accommodation for older residents. The main purpose of the role is: To work as part of a team of Health Care Assistants, under the direction of the Nursing team to provide quality person-centered care to meet the needs of residents and provide support to continue living independently with privacy and dignity. Assisting the nurse in duties associate with delivery of care and management of unit environment and other support duties. Engage the residents in a personal and individual way and encourage socialisation and participation in meaningful activities. To promote a caring environment for residents through high standards of professional practice which are conducive to the physical, emotional, social, intellectual, and spiritual needs of the Residents of the Home. The successful candidates will have a genuine passion for caring and a keen interest in older adults' care. Required Education, Skills and Qualifications: Previous experience or a relevant QQI Level 5 in Health Care Support is preferred.
