Jobomschrijving As Payroll Specialist, you will play a central role in ensuring accurate and compliant payroll operations while contributing to continuous improvements across processes and systems. Your responsibilities include: Managing payroll activities from A to Z for a diverse employee population. Ensuring accurate processing of payroll inputs, salary calculations and statutory obligations. Acting as a key contact for payroll, compensation and social legislation-related questions. Monitoring legislative developments and ensuring compliance with Belgian labour and social security regulations. Collaborating with HR, Finance and external partners to ensure smooth payroll operations. Preparing reports and analyses to support business decisions. Contributing to payroll optimisation, digitalisation and process improvement initiatives. Supporting audits and payroll-related control activities. Bachelor's or Master's degree in HR, Law, Business Administration or a related field. Minimum 4 years of payroll experience within a complex environment. Strong knowledge of Belgian payroll legislation and social law. Experience with payroll software and digital HR tools. Fluent in Dutch and/or French with a good command of English. Analytical, detail-oriented and solution-driven mindset. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
