About this role
We are seeking an experienced Lead Architect to design and drive cloud-based solutions for complex business environments. You will play a key role in both pre-Sales and project delivery, working closely with clients, stakeholders, and technical teams to define scalable, secure, and innovative architectures aligned with business objectives. Key responsibilities Designing end-to-end cloud architectures for complex enterprise solutions Supporting pre-Sales activities, including solution shaping, proposals, and client presentations Translating business requirements into scalable and secure technical solutions Providing architectural leadership throughout project delivery Defining and promoting architecture standards, best practices, and governance Collaborating with clients, stakeholders, and delivery teams to ensure solution quality and consistency Evaluating and selecting appropriate cloud technologies, platforms, and architecture patterns Mentoring architects and senior engineers to foster technical excellence Contributing to the growth and development of the architecture practice across Belgium, Benelux, and France Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field Minimum 5 years of experience as a Cloud Architect, Solution Architect, or Enterprise Architect Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Solid knowledge of MicroServices, event-driven architectures, and distributed systems Experience with API design, integration platforms, and messaging technologies Good understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Experience in client-facing environments, stakeholder management, and pre-Sales activities Ability to combine strategic thinking with hands-on technical expertise Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex topics to both technical and business audiences Experience working in Agile environments Fluency French & either English or Dutch is mandatory
