For a stable and growing family-owned company in Aalst, active in the production of high-quality products for agriculture and horticulture, we are looking for a motivated night shift operator. The company has a strong reputation both nationally and internationally, with many years of experience and modern automated production lines. About the role & products: You will work in a production environment where organic and organo-mineral fertilizers are produced. These products are used in agriculture, horticulture, and professional applications. The company produces: Fertilizers (single and compound) Soil improvers Potting soils and substrates Products under its own brand as well as private label Your responsibilities: Operating, setting up, and monitoring production machines Supervising the production process (quality, efficiency, safety) Performing quality checks Bagging and processing finished products Solving minor technical issues Performing basic maintenance Moving goods using a forklift/reach truck Maintaining cleanliness and order in the workplace Performing manual tasks where necessary Interested? Your profile: You have stable work experience, preferably in production Technical knowledge or interest is a strong plus You speak English (Dutch is a plus) You are willing to work a fixed night shift (22:00 – 06:00) You are physically fit You can work independently and take responsibility A forklift and/or reach truck certificate is a plus You are motivated and reliable
