Dealing with multiple driversCommunicating with portsBooking delivery slots for entry in portsUsing a Transport system called TOPS for putting down drivers start times and finish timesChasing drivers for etas and making sure they are on timeRerouting jobs as and when is neededChecking all PODS are matched up with all the correct jobs on the systemSpeaking to customers on possible delays advising et We are looking for candidates to apply who have the following:
Previous experience as a Transport Operator – EssentialConfident and clear communicator – written and verbal Excellent UK geographical knowledgeCan work on own initiativeQuick and efficient problem solving skillsOrganised at all timesFlexibility to meet the demands of the business
