ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

To provide technical operational support to CMC Connect team and the Institutional client base for the entire client experience, from pre-sales testing to onboarding, facilitation of ongoing trading activity and commercial configuration management. Additionally, to ensure connectivity with institutional clients and associated third party support providers is established and maintained.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Work closely with the CMC Connect Team to globally support the technical on-boarding of new clients, user acceptance testing and the launch of new processes, technology and products • Understand Institutional requirements from internal and external stakeholders. Liaise with IT and other relevant departments as required to test and rollout through the development lifecycle • On-going maintenance and monitoring of all relevant system configurations and back-office elements of the Institutional application stack • Develop internal and external relationships with key business stakeholders – to include all aspects of the end-to-end process of clients connecting to the CMC Connect technology stack, from the client through to CMC’s internal Networks Team and any third-party technology intermediaries such as MT4/5 Bridges as well as ECNs • Contribute to Institutional IT and product strategy, planning, development and delivery pipeline • Develop a good knowledge of the activities, revenue types and turnover remuneration of Institutional to support decision making and prioritisation • Assist with the implementation of business controls around client set up and management • Work closely with the Business Operations team whilst carrying out daily Institutional tasks • Maintain personal/professional development to meet the changing demands of the role, including all relevant regulatory and legislative training • When dealing with all customers, clients or colleagues ensure that we provide a clear, fair and consistent high-quality service that presents a professional and positive image of CMC Markets • Take all reasonable steps to ensure appropriate confidentiality • Undertake such other duties, training and/or hours of work as may be reasonably required, and which are consistent with the general level of responsibility of this role.

KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Experience managing business process change and technology implementation projects • Knowledge of the Institutional derivatives business area preferable • Relevant experience supporting Institutional electronic trading business • Experience in Web Services / API’s platform • Excellent understanding of FIX desirable • Established interest and awareness of financial markets • Ability to build solid working relationships with key stakeholders internal and externally • Commercially and strategically minded with a strong focus on client service • Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as interpersonal skills • Ability to work and deliver on own initiative and to deadlines • Strong analytical and reporting skills • Excellent attention to detail
