ABOUT THIS ROLE

This role is responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing and communication strategies that strengthen awareness of Cincinnati Children’s services, programs, and mission among external audiences while supporting organizational goals and strategic priorities.

This early career professional position applies foundational knowledge of marketing principles, communication strategies, and industry best practices to support a broad range of initiatives and campaigns. The individual will complete routine to moderately complex assignments using established processes and guidelines, while building expertise in the healthcare marketing field. Working closely with and receiving guidance from more experienced team members, the Marketing Specialist contributes to projects that advance Cincinnati Children’s brand, reputation, and commitment to delivering exceptional care, groundbreaking research, and outstanding patient and family experiences.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Marketing Execution - Assist marketing team in the project management and execution of marketing tactics within divisional marketing and project plans.

• Project Management - Employs project management techniques to complete marketing tasks or projects on schedule and on budget; escalates issues; regularly maintains and provides project status to supervisor and teams.

• Relationship Management - Build and maintain positive relationships with internal partners and colleagues; Responds to requests quickly and effectively; appropriately activates additional resources and personnel to respond to issues; Effectively communicates and works with team members and external partners to accomplish tasks or projects.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in a related field

• No directly related experience

• Preferred: Experience managing and coordinating marketing projects

• Preferred: Experience with writing for different audiences

• Preferred: Social media management and posting
