About this role

Here at Chubb Systems we are looking for a motivated and practical individual to join our Bridgwater office as a Quality Practitioner/ Quality Engineer.

This role offers the opportunity to develop a long-term career in quality management, supporting the delivery of safe, compliant and consistently high-quality work. It may particularly suit someone considering a career change who is interested in applying their existing technical, operational or problem-solving experience in a new professional direction.

You will receive full training and structured support while completing the Level 4 Quality Practitioner apprenticeship.

SALARY: Up to £49,000.00 DoE

What You’ll be Doing as a Quality Practitioner/ Quality Engineer

• Supporting quality audits, inspections and assurance activities. • Maintaining accurate quality records and documentation. • Collecting and analysing quality-performance information. • Helping investigate non-conformances and identify root causes. • Monitoring corrective actions and improvement activities. • Supporting compliance with company, customer and project requirements. • Working with colleagues to improve processes and prevent recurring issues. • Completing the required apprenticeship learning and assessments.

What We Would Like You To Bring

A technical background in security systems installation would be desirable, but it is not essential. Experience of working in the nuclear sector or another highly regulated environment would also be advantageous.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is organised, reliable and attentive to detail. • Communicates clearly and professionally. • Is comfortable working with technical information and documentation. • Takes a structured approach to solving problems. • Is willing to learn, ask questions and challenge issues constructively. • Can work effectively with colleagues across different teams. • Is committed to completing the apprenticeship programme.
