Position Summary Mercedes-Benz Stadium (MBS) is hiring a full-time Point of Sale (POS) Technical Analyst. This position will support the POS Manager System & Technology in ensuring all food and beverage sales systems are prepared and ready for all major events at MBS. This role will require pre-event work and systems to be prepared as well as providing operational monitoring and support for those systems during the events. Roles and Responsibilities
• Work closely with and support the POS Manager System & Technology to: • ensure all POS systems within the stadium are fully functional and ready for major events • includes swapping out of fixed POS terminals and shipping for repair
• assist in maintaining and managing an inventory of all POS hardware, tablet devices, and related peripherals • assist in the implementation of POS application updates and releases • establish, monitor, and report on overall POS systems performance
Qualifications and Education Requirements
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience working with hardware and tablet devices • Experience configuring and supporting point of sale systems to include installation, troubleshooting, and monitoring systems. • Preferred: Experience with Global Payments Xenial/Genius systems • Microsoft certifications, or other IT certifications (Network certifications) desirable • Previous major events/sports and entertainment experience preferred
