Assistant Pool Manager - Warford Pay Rate: $14.00/hr. Work Hours: 20-30 hours per week Summary The Assistant Pool Manager supports the Pool Manager in supervising up to 15 pool employees. Key responsibilities include maintaining and cleaning the facility, checking chemical levels and performing necessary treatments, conducting in-service training, and completing required documentation. This role requires flexibility to work various shifts between 3:00 PM and 9:00 PM. Essential Responsibilities

• Patron Safety: Ensure the safety of all patrons through preventive lifeguarding and by enforcing all pool rules and regulations. • Assist Pool Manager with organization of public and private pool parties. • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service and set a positive example for employees. • Staff Supervision: Plan, prioritize, assign, supervise, and review the work of staff. Enforce policies outlined in the employee handbook. • Emergency Response: Respond appropriately to emergency situations and assist in performing necessary procedures. • Training: Conduct weekly in-service training to ensure staff maintains monthly training hours for licensing. • Documentation: Document staff or patron infractions as needed. • Facility Maintenance: Assist with daily cleaning duties and perform small mechanical repairs as directed. • Communication: Coordinate with Pool Manager and Aquatics Supervisor to resolve issues during shifts. • Promotion and Marketing: Submit ideas for creative marketing to boost public attendance and assist with promoting special programs. • Other Duties: Perform additional tasks assigned by the Pool Manager or Aquatic Supervisor.

Minimum Requirements

• American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification required. • Prior supervisory experience preferred. • American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor or ability to obtain within the first 6 months of hire. • Certified Pool and Spa Operator or ability to obtain within the first 6 months of hire. • Basic knowledge of pool maintenance and mechanical operations preferred • Must be at least 17 years old. • Ability to follow written and oral instructions. • Availability to work Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday between 3:00 PM and 9:00 PM • Reliable transportation to work. • Commitment to work year-round. • No vacations or leaves of absence are allowed without prior approval and shift coverage. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Skills Pretest Requirements: • 200-yard swim. • Tread water for 2 minutes (without using hands). • Retrieve a 10-pound brick from 7 feet of water. • Ability to manage employees and lead by example. • Basic understanding of pool maintenance and mechanical operations. • Ability to interpret, explain, and enforce pool policies and procedures. • At least one year of experience in a similar role, preferably involving public interaction.
