• Exhibits excellent customer relationship skills, including telephone and personal contact with the call center's customer groups (physicians, nurses, vendors, fellow employees).
• Establishes and maintains a high degree of awareness and knowledge of participating medical services.
• Demonstrates proficiency in appropriate regulations.
• Coordinates ambulance transfers from hospitals to other facilities and post-acute care providers.
• Responds to all callers in a customer-centric transfer and transport call-center using service profiles and healthcare information.
• Consults with on-call physicians regarding patient care issues, needs, and concerns, and provides advice when appropriate.
• Collaborates with facilities to manage all external patient movements.
• Facilitates inner facility transfers, maintaining communication with attending/accepting MD and referring facility.
• Communicates with physicians and outlying facilities if placement is problematic.
• Documents and tracks all hospital transfers and transports.
• Performs other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Bachelor's of Nursing [Required]
• Master's of Nursing [Preferred]
Field of Study:
• N/A
Work Experience:
• 2+ years experience in ed/icu and or house supervisor role [Preferred]
• 5+ years of nursing experience [Required]

Pay Range:
