Schedule: Part-Time, 16 hours per week Location: 601 E Rollins Street Orlando FL 32803
Responsible for assisting in repairing and coordinating the repair and preventive maintenance of department equipment. This position ensures all equipment is functioning properly and safely. This role adheres to all applicable local, state, and federal regulations and accrediting bodies. This position actively participates in providing outstanding customer service. Additionally, this role maintains respectful relationships with all individuals. Ensures compliance with the Advent Health Corporate Compliance Plan.
• Performs other duties as requested by department leadership. • Other duties as assigned. • Assists the Equipment Manager on work orders for projects and specific work requests with Engineering, such as Medical Gas Shut Downs. • Communicates with other campuses in sharing equipment when necessary. • Assists in coordinating department needs for rental, borrowed, and loaned equipment, ensuring prompt return of equipment. • Provides Materials Management/Supply Chain with complete and accurate purchase orders. • Maintains current knowledge of standards, codes, and operations of all respiratory equipment. • Attends technical training for repairing and maintaining specialized equipment. • Assists in maintaining and repairing department equipment to ensure safe operation according to manufacturers’ specifications. • Maintains daily records of equipment repair to meet regulatory standards. Provides ongoing technical assistance for the cleaning and assembly of respiratory care equipment, relieving cleaning room staff when necessary. Communicates effectively with the Biomedical Department regarding repair and preventive maintenance of respiratory equipment. • Calls in work orders as needed and delivers necessary equipment to the Biomedical Department for repair or preventive maintenance. • Notifies Equipment Manager of specific equipment shortages. • Coordinates purchases, supply stocking, shipping, and warehousing of department records and equipment. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • Basic electrical knowledge [Required] • Computer skills including Word, Excel, and Outlook [Required] • Ability to work independently [Required] • Basic mechanical and electronic skills [Required]
Education: • High School Grad or Equiv [Preferred]

Pay Range:
$20.97 - $38.99 Background Screening Requirement (Florida Law)
