Schedule: Full Time, 40 hours
Shift: Requires full availability for weekdays 8am-8pm, and weekends 8am-5pm
Location: Will provide support to Urgent Care clinics between Daytona, Deland, Orange City, Ormond Beach, Port Orange, Palm Coast & New Smyrna areas. Mileage support is provided.

Ensure the appropriate use and stewardship of medical supplies and equipment to support patient safety and operational efficiency Exemplifies AdventHealth’s core values of Keep Me Safe, Make It Easy, Love Me, and Own It through behavior. Other duties as assigned. Observes and records patients’ conditions and reactions to medications and treatments. Reviews appointment bookings and prioritize patients in emergency situations to maintain timely flow. Responds to and return incoming telephone calls in a timely manner and instruct patients and families regarding medication and treatment instructions. Prepares exam rooms, restock treatment areas, and disinfect exam tables and counters. Follows established policy on medication and lab safety and compliance. Follows CDC isolation guidelines, demonstrates appropriate use of PPE, performs hand hygiene according to policy, and enforces safety regulations. Ensures safe and effective handoff communication and documentation. Plans and manages patient care according to each patient’s needs. Interviews patients and records their medical history. Obtains patient vital signs and escorts patients to their rooms. Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with official policy and procedures and nursing standards. Documents medications, treatments, and labs, ensuring patient charts are updated promptly and accurately. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. [Required]
• Additional languages. [Preferred]
• Demonstrates ability to communicate by reading, writing legibly, speaking, and comprehending English effectively in order to carry out job requirements. [Required]
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, employees, and the public. [Required]
• Ability to travel and handle a variety of practices, people, and protocols. [Required]
Education:
• High School Grad or Equiv [Required]
• Technical/Vocational School [Required]
Work Experience:
• 1+ in practice setting [Preferred]
Licenses and Certifications:
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) [Required]
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]

Pay Range:
$17.11 - $40.09 Background Screening Requirement (Florida Law)
