Schedule: 3 /12-hour shifts- 36 hours a week Shift: Nights
Primary Job Responsibilities:
• Perform and document accurate initial and ongoing assessments to evaluate patient conditions and needs. • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to address identified patient needs and goals. • Administer medications accurately and appropriately as ordered, monitoring patient responses and adjusting interventions as necessary. • Supervise and guide nursing personnel in delivering safe, therapeutic, and quality patient care, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures. • Provide patient and family education about the care plan, medications, procedures, and other relevant information to ensure understanding and compliance. • Assist physicians with bedside procedures and prepare patients for tests, procedures, and surgeries. • Monitor patient lab work for trends and report abnormal results for necessary actions.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Must be able to use a high level of abstract reasoning to assess patient, evaluate interventions, and revise plan of care according to patient outcomes. [Required] • Basic computer skills – must be able to navigate Microsoft windows-based programs. [Required] • Must be fluent in English (read, verbal and written skills). [Required] • Equipment use to stabilize and monitor patients (IV insertion, central lines, pulse ox, NG tubes, Foley, chest tubes, hemodynamics monitoring), including electronic medical record and automated dispensing medication system (pyxis). [Required] • Proficient clinical skills, critical thinking skills, and strong communication skills. [Required]
Education:
• Associate's of Nursing [Required] • Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]
Work Experience:
• 1+ years acute care hospital experience [Preferred]
Licenses and Certifications:
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required] • Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]

Pay Range:
$32.76 - $57.47 Background Screening Requirement (Florida Law)
