• Executes system optimization and workflow improvement initiatives aligned with enterprise coding and revenue cycle strategies
• Supports configuration and optimization of work queues, routing logic, and workflow design to improve throughput and timeliness
• Partners with operations, IT, and vendors to implement system enhancements, automation tools, and AI-enabled solutions
• Assists in enterprise FTE modeling, volume forecasting, and DRG mix analysis to support workforce planning
• Monitors DNFB, productivity, and turnaround time trends; identifies performance gaps and supports corrective actions
• Supports development and maintenance of predictive models related to backlog, volume variability, and capacity planning
• Coordinates intake, tracking, and execution of system and workflow enhancement requests
• Participates in prioritization processes based on operational impact, risk, and performance improvement opportunities
• Leads or supports operational testing, validation, and user acceptance testing for system changes and automation initiatives
• Ensures alignment between system functionality and operational workflows to improve efficiency and reduce variation
• Supports backlog management and surge planning activities to maintain operational performance during volume fluctuations
• Provides analysis and reporting on staffing utilization, productivity, and site-level performance variances
• Drives adoption of new tools, workflows, and automation capabilities through stakeholder engagement and training support
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams during design, build, testing, and implementation phases
• Provides day-to-day leadership, guidance, and oversight to analysts or team members supporting solutions and optimization efforts
• Performs other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Proficient experience with EMR systems (Epic preferred). [Required]
• Strong understanding of clinical workflows and documentation practices. [Required]
• Ability to analyze workflows and recommend informatics-based improvements. [Required]
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 office products [Required]
• Familiarity with Data Analytics, Epic Reporting Tools and data visualization tools [Required]
• Enterprise leadership and cross functional influence skills [Required]
• Change management and enterprise implementation leadership [Required]
• Strong communication and presentation skills [Required]
• Decision making using volume trends, forecasting and operational analytics. [Required]
Education:
• Bachelor's [Required]
Field of Study:
• in healthcare related field
Work Experience:
• 4+ years of experience in healthcare operations, revenue cycle, HIM, or related field [Required]
• 3+ years of leadership experience or demonstrated experience leading cross functional initiatives, solution design, or training across multiple revenue cycle functions [Required]
• 2+ years of experience partnering with IT on system implementations, enhancements and optimization initiatives [Required]
Additional Information:
• Must be willing to obtain Epic certification within 2 years of hire and maintain annual educational requirements for Epic certifications.
Licenses and Certifications:
• Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) [Required] OR Certified Professional Coder (CPC) [Required] OR Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) [Required] OR Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) [Required]

Pay Range:
$83,699.48 - $155,693.55 Background Screening Requirement (Florida Law)
