Shift: M-F 7- 3:30
• Performs records release of radiology films and reports to patients or other medical facilities, ensuring HIPAA compliance. • Provides front-desk support to minimize wait times and resolve customer service issues by assisting with patient check-ins. • Monitors, provides feedback, and develops process improvement workflows with Director approval. • Coordinates workflow for cardiology and radiology modalities, continuously reviewing patient wait times, satisfaction, and communication with radiologists. • Assures accuracy of scheduled appointments and monitors proper outpatient preparation for cardiology and radiologic tests. • Schedules all Special/Interventional Radiology and Cardiology procedures with physicians and office staff via phone, electronic EMR, and fax. • Consults with Directors, Managers, Nursing, Radiologists, and Modality Leaders regarding schedule conflicts, concerns, or requests outside of established policy. • Monitors, coordinates, and communicates strategic objectives of the cardiology and radiology department. • Facilitates all components of patients’ medical imaging, including PACS duties, uploading images, and reviewing exams with physicians. • Prepares and sends reservations for each scheduled case to designated departments within established timeframes. • Creates and distributes monthly on-call technologist and radiologist schedules to all departments. Performs other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Effective oral and written communication skills with customer service skills. [Required] • High level of attention to detail and organization. [Required] • Must be able to use own judgment and initiative to resolve immediate and urgent problems and expedite patient care as needed. [Required] • Must be able to interact and deal with challenging situations in dealing with patients and families in a tactful, calm, and professional manner that invites cooperation and communication. Education:
• Associate [Preferred] • High School Grad or Equiv [Required]
Work Experience:
• Radiology services [Preferred]
Licenses and Certifications:
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]

Pay Range:
$17.11 - $27.38 Background Screening Requirement (Florida Law)
