Summary: As a Data Engineer, a typical day involves designing, developing, and maintaining comprehensive data solutions that support the generation, collection, and processing of data. This role includes creating efficient data pipelines and ensuring the integrity and quality of data throughout its lifecycle. The position requires implementing processes to extract, transform, and load data, facilitating seamless migration and deployment across various systems. The workday is dynamic, involving collaboration with different teams to optimize data workflows and support organizational data needs effectively. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver scalable data solutions. - Monitor and optimize data pipeline performance to ensure reliability and efficiency. - Document data processes and workflows to maintain clarity and support knowledge sharing. - Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support in their tasks. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Data Engineering, Java (Programming Language), Python (Programming Language), AWS Glue. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Java (Programming Language), Python (Programming Language), AWS Glue. - Strong knowledge of data pipeline architecture and ETL frameworks. - Experience with cloud-based data services and infrastructure. - Ability to work with large datasets and optimize data storage solutions. - Familiarity with database systems and data warehousing concepts. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Data Engineering. - This position is based at our CDC2A - SEZ office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
