Job Description
Join ACCIONA on a flagship WA infrastructure project, with first production set for 2028. Long term work and real career runway as more works get awarded.
The Project The Alkimos Desalination Plant Project includes the design, construction, operation and maintenance of the plant, with first production in 2028. Works include marine works and tunnels, seawater intake system, a seawater reverse osmosis desalination plant, groundwater system, drinking water storage and pump system, supported by civil, electrical and bulk earthworks.

The Role You'll carry out electrical installation work across the plant, from switchboards through to cable terminations. Day to day, you'll install and assemble LV and HV switchboards, terminate power, control and instrumentation cables, and install and secure cabling in trays, conduits and underground services. You'll read drawings and diagrams, assist with cable pulling, and support testing and fault finding. You'll work closely with the wider construction team, completing QA checks and toolbox talks as you go.
Required Skills and Competencies
What you need
• WA Electrical Workers Licence (essential)
• Australian Electrical Trade Qualification and Construction White Card
• Working at Heights, Confined Space Entry, First Aid/CPR, EWP licence
• Experience on major infrastructure, water or industrial projects
• A genuine safety first attitude
Desirable
• Certificate IV in Electrical Instrumentation or Industrial Electronics
• PLC, HV Switching or Hazardous Area (EEHA/Ex) certification
• Certified Profibus/Profinet installer
