This Position reports to: Senior Engineering Manager In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as a design authority for an engineering discipline with low to medium complexity. Each day, you will complete assignments on small projects or portions of larger projects in a cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by applying basic design thinking/design for excellence concepts in projects.
The work model for the role is # LI - Hybrid.
This role is contributing to the to the Process Automation business in Energy Industries division based in Bangalore, India.
You will be mainly accountable for:
• Industry Experience: Person with strong automation experience in Pharma, Biotech/API, and Food & Beverage sectors.
• Batch Standards and GMP: Proficiency in Batch standards (S-88) and Good Manufacturing Practices for Batch Design.
• Batch Process Design and Implementation: Expertise in designing and implementing batch process applications as per user requirements.
• Batch Software and HMI Design: Strong experience in batch software design, including SFCs, recipes, HMI design, and implementation.
• System Testing and Commissioning: Skilled in integrated system testing (FAT), startup, commissioning, and troubleshooting.

Qualifications for the role:
• Control Systems Experience: 4 to 8 years of experience with ABB DCS, Delta V, Rockwell, or Siemens Batch systems.
• Batch Standards and Programming: Experience with ISA 88 Batch Standards, Batch Design, Production Management/Scheduling, and Batch Management programming.
• Recipe Management and Batch Production: Excellent knowledge and experience in developing Recipe Management and Procedures for Batch Production processes.
• Project Phases Expertise: Knowledge of process manufacturing, field instrumentation, control system installation, and implementation across project phases: requirements documentation, detailed design, implementation, system integration, testing, and on-site startup.
• Pharma Project Execution: Experience in executing Pharma projects following V-model and GAMP standards, including process control and automation design using P&IDs, PFDs, and other documentation based on ISA S88 standard.
• Design and Validation: Proficiency in developing scope of supply documentation, conceptual/basic/detailed design with validation/qualification, functional specifications, change management, and control system validation/testing protocols.
• Educational Background: BE/BTech/Diploma in Engineering (Control and Instrumentation or equivalent).
