About this role
Performs repairs and preventative maintenance duties, and ensures that the building is maintained in a clean, attractive and safe condition. Responds to emergency building maintenance and security requests
Qualifications:
• High school completed with relevant course
• Minimum 1 year of related experience, preferably in building maintenance
• Knowledge of legislations and relevant procedures regarding building standards, fire and safety
• Some knowledge of preventive maintenance programs for building systems and ground maintenance
• Good interpersonal skills. Experience working with seniors is an asset
• Satisfactory Police Reference Check (with vulnerable sector screen) Result
• Good oral and written communication skills in English and Chinese
Physical Demands/ Working Condition:
• Considerable standing, walking, lifting, pushing and bending
• Exposed to all tenant care elements through regular client contact
• Exposed to garbage, dust, heat, noise, and humidity
• On-call services for building maintenance, emergency and safety matters
• Required to work weekends and statutory holidays and evening and night shifts if necessary
