We're looking for a proactive and curious Risk & Compliance Analyst who enjoys solving problems, building relationships, and turning insights into action. This is a hands-on role for someone who loves variety, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants to develop broad expertise across operational risk, compliance, privacy, and financial crime.
You'll work closely with business stakeholders, providing practical support and guidance to help identify, assess, manage, and monitor risk. From responding to enquiries and supporting incident management through to risk assessments, governance reporting, privacy activities, and continuous improvement initiatives, you'll play an important role in helping the business manage risk effectively.
This role offers an excellent development pathway for someone looking to grow their career within Risk and Compliance, with exposure across multiple disciplines and opportunities to build the experience needed to progress into future Risk & Compliance Manager roles.
What you'll be doing
You'll partner closely with stakeholders across the business to provide practical support and guidance on operational risk, compliance, privacy and financial crime matters. A key part of the role will be helping teams identify and manage risk while meeting their regulatory and governance obligations.
You'll support activities across incident, issue, action and control management, assist with risk and control assessments, and contribute to monitoring, assurance and reporting processes that help strengthen risk outcomes.
The role also includes supporting privacy and financial crime initiatives, responding to stakeholder enquiries, preparing governance reporting, monitoring key risk indicators, and helping identify emerging risks and trends.
Importantly, you'll be someone who enjoys rolling up your sleeves. Whether it's improving processes, enhancing controls, supporting projects and change initiatives, maintaining risk registers, or helping uplift risk capability across the business, you'll be comfortable getting involved wherever support is needed and turning insights into practical action.
What you'll bring

• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. • The ability to interpret information, identify themes, and translate findings into meaningful insights. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt your approach for different audiences. • Strong relationship-building skills and confidence working with a range of stakeholders. • Great organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities. • A high level of attention to detail and accuracy. • Experience analysing data and preparing reports that support decision-making. • Confidence using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. • A proactive mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement.
It would be great if you also have
• Experience within banking, financial services, or a similarly regulated environment. • Experience in risk, compliance, financial crime, audit, assurance, governance, or a related field. • Knowledge of operational risk frameworks, controls, incident management, issue management, and remediation processes. • Experience supporting risk assessments, assurance reviews, or Control Self-Assessments (CSA). • Knowledge of privacy obligations and privacy risk management practices. • Exposure to AML/CFT, financial crime risk management, or regulatory compliance activities. • Experience using governance, risk, and compliance systems such as Juno (or similar platforms). • A qualification in business, law, commerce, risk management, or a related discipline. • Professional study or certifications in risk, compliance, audit, privacy, or financial crime.
